This formally nice Remington 1100 was left in a wet storage unit for 4 years. Customer didn't want to spend a lot of money to get it looking good and usable again. It had severe corrosion inside and out. We sent it through the bead blaster, did a thorough safety inspection. Rebuilt the gas system, gave it a quick oil finish and a coat of Aluma Hyde. Project came in under budget, and the customer was extremely happy his shotgun wasn't a total loss as he had thought before. |

Was a franken AR with a California barrel, commercial dpms buttstock on a mil-spec tube, with every Chinese gadget on the rails. Turned into a usuable AR with a mil-spec CAR 4 buttstock assembly and an Anderson 1/8 twist barrel. The customer supplied muzzlebrake is like a flaming pig and actually works quite effectively. |
